And again this year, thanks to the friendly folks at Friendly KIA, enjoy a FREE concert as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of WOODSTOCK with a glorious TRIBUTE to that summer of Love!  Friendly KIAFEST Main Street Blast – A TRIBUTE TO WOODSTOCK starts early in the day with the local talent of Boneyard Dogs and the 60’s GROOVE band and continues the fun with tributes to bands who performed at Woodstock ’69!

Bring the whole family downtown to enjoy classic rock music, food & beverages,  the eighth  annual “Miss Firecracker” Contest (tentatively scheduled);  a Motorcycle “Fun Run”;  a Classic Car, Truck and Corvette Cruise-in; two Beer Gardens; kids’ games and much more.

Finish off the day with a fabulous fireworks display over Orange Lake (weather/conditions permitting) but get there early, more than 25,000 people enjoyed New Port Richey’s fireworks display last year!

This event received “Honor Award for Best Event in Florida for 2006” by Florida’s Secretary of State and was named one of the “Top 20 Events in the Southeast” by Southeast Tourism magazine.

As we always include a salute to our troops, this year will be a salute to Vietnam Vets, who were much a part of that era.  The Military Vehicle Preservation Association will be displaying over ten VIETNAM era military vehicles and equipment in and around Orange Lake and Sims Park.

The ever popular Corvette & Classic Car Cruise-in hosted by Sunset Corvette and Classic Car Club, and sponsored by SMITH COLLISION, a Motorcycle Fun Ride hosted by District 2 Eagle Riders will be raising money for Fisher House (which is a facility similiar to Ronald McDonald House for Veterans Hospital patients’ families), and of course, West Pasco’s only public fireworks spetacular!

As always with Main Street events, there will be Arts and Crafts, Kid’s rides and games, fabulous festival food and beer gardens!  The music is FREE, thanks to  John Gilliss of friendly KIA and the fireworks courtesy of Law Offices of Lucas, Green and Magazine
